나의 마음은 고요한 물결
My mind, a calm wave
바람이 불어도 흔들이고,
Even though the wind blows and shakes,
구름이 지나도 그림자 짓는 것.
Even though the clouds pass by, forming a shadow.

돌을 던지는 사람.
Someone tossing a stone.
고기를 낚는 사람.
Someone fishing.
노래를 부르는 사람. 
Someone singing a song.

이리하여 이 물가 외로운 밤이면
In this way, if the water is a lonely night
별은 고요히 물위에 뜨고
The stars calmly float above the water
숲은 말없이 물결을 재우느니,
The forest silently puts the wave to sleep,

행여 백조가 오는 날,
The day that the white swan by chance comes,
이 물가 어지러울까
This water will be disturbed
나는 밤마다 꿈을 덮노라.
Each and every night I veil my dream.
